Here is my Dandelifeon cell placement setup: I find it just way more efficient to use cheap early game endoflames (though in quantity) the a dandelifeon, supposedly a super endgame flower.Īnyone can relate to this or explain me why the dandelifeon might be better then an (mass) endoflame powered treefarm? After a game is finished, the mana it has produced is never large enough that it creates a seamingly endless stream of mana (were the mana draining by a gaia spreader from one game never takes the same time as a game lasts) It needs atleast 60 seconds to complete the most optimal game, 30 if an overgrowth seed is used. Not only are big cactus farms a pain to make, with floating blocks of sand and such, the cactus yield per second is quite random, and the growth speed cannot be increased by an agricarnation. (for long distances a force relay with a phantom-warp lense makes the burst go from A to B instantly and thus the spreader can go rapidfire)Ī dandelifeon however, requires a massive cactus farm to get enough to make cells for every dandelifeon game to were a game is seamingly instantly followed by another game. Feed it to a dozen of exoflame powered furnaces that use water streams or dafomills to push the produced charcoal along endoflames, and then you get gaia spreaders that can fire bursts constantly. using force relays and bore lenses, agricarnations and a single rannuncarpus can yield large amounts of, if not streems of logs. To get a good tree farm, have a few 2x2 spots were the mega spruce trees grow. Compare it to a endoflame farm that uses a treefarm to get the charcoal, and the endoflames, even if you require a dozen, just beats the dandelifeon extremely hard in terms of complexety and mana generation. Or endoflames are just OP for all eternity.įirstly, the idea is that we see a dandelifeon farm as the whole setup with a single dandelifeon flower producing mana, in a pure botania world. It is the balance between setting up and mana gain that makes it hardly worth it over other generating flowers. I just have the feeling that the dandelifeon is quite underpowered.
